Music 50 Cent Plans Secret Show, Tells Everyone and Then Cancels

Whether it was this public concern, or the fact that the secret surprise of his surprise secret show had been ruined, 50 Cent announced today that the show was canceled — or at least that he wouldn't perform, but may still show up. In a ridiculously mean-spirited Post update (the article opens "Bullet-magnet 50 Cent...") Mayor Bloomberg squashes the beef in typical suited-white-guy style:
"Our understanding after talking with 50 Cents [sic] is he has no plans to perform whatsoever. He might go, but he's not going to perform," Mayor Bloomberg said.
Instead, 50 will bus local kids to his show at Six Flags in New Jersey on August 29.
