Music / Media It's On! Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly Respond to Jay-Z

As mentioned a couple days ago, one of the two latest tracks to be released from Jay-Z's upcoming Blueprint 3, "Off That" with Drake, features an especially great verse with jabs at Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly: "They say black vs. white my nigga we off that/ please tell Bill O'Reilly to fall back/ tell Rush Limbaugh to get off my balls/ it's 2010 not 1864." Now, both Limbaugh and O'Reilly have responded. On his radio show, Limbaugh muses:
As far as I know I have never been mentioned in a rap song by anybody. I guess it means I've made it. I'm now in a rap tune by the famous rapper Jay-Z.
That's cute (although he then goes on to make some awkward and strange comments about circumcision). Meanwhile, Bill O'Reilly comes off like, well, a smug jerk (video after the jump).
On the other hand, isn't comparing anyone to Otis Redding kind of a huge compliment?

He probably has a special "research intern" who does nothing but that, all day every day.
hang on: jay z calls his pack NIGGAS, and he's a modern guy who has gone beyond racial name-calling? i don't think so.
Two comments:
1- Bill O'Reilly's comparison of Jay-Z to Otis Redding was completely sarcastic: Jay-Z's lyrics could never meet the incredible depth of the late, great soul legend's work. So nobody should think that O'Reilly's comparison is a compliment to Jay-Z.
2- And by the way, I'm surprised that Mr. Sutton - a paid journalist - doesn't know the difference between "compliment" and "complement."
I am a white male that knows that Rush Limbaugh is a racist pig who is real good at covering and saving his own rear end. Don Imus was fired for saying racist things on the air and Rush Limbaugh wasn't. Both Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly have been mentioned as Keith Olbermann's worst person in the world so many times, it isn't even funny.
