Glass Box Balconies For All!

For most of us urban folks, chillin' outdoors in the city means either being in a public park or on someone else's private property (either by invitation or clandestinely). That won't be so for much longer if the Dutch (our adoptive countrymen of choice) have any say in the matter. Hofman Dujardin Architecten of Amsterdam have designed the Bloomframe, which looks like a normal window until it transforms, Autobot-style, into a glass balcony. The design is still in testing, but once on the market it can be retrofitted onto most window boxes, and then deployed like so:
