Good news from Philly's Drink Up Buttercup today, as they've signed a deal with the ultra-reliable North Carolina label Yep Roc Records. They've got a single, "Even Think" available as a free download right now, which you can find here. You'll have to jump through some hoops, but it's worth it, I promise. It's also available on vinyl, with a cover of "Why Can't I Touch It?" by the Buzzcocks as an added bonu. The band just finished work on a new full-length as well. Recorded by Bill Moriarty (Dr. Dog, Man Man), it will be released in the beginning of 2010. I have very high hopes for this.

After the jump, some tour dates and a video of the band performing on the street during the Northside Festival. They were even drunker than I was.
