Music Monsters of Folk Play The Tonight Show

Because we got really, really unlucky with our issue dates not quite lining up with the big releases this fall, you'll have to wait until next Wednesday the see the official L Magazine stance on the debut album from Monsters of Folk, featuring Conor Oberst, M. Ward, Jim James and Mike Mogis. But in the meantime, there's this clip from their performance on Conan last night. One might suspect they were going for the Mad Men look. One might also suspect they wound up with more of a wedding band thing.

This sucks. I still love you Connor, you are but a foot tall next to Conan, but I still love you. Oh, and I wanna punch M. Ward.
