American General in Afghanistan: "Something May or May Not Happen in the Future. Or Not. Can I Have More Troops Now?"

General Scrooge McChrystal, head army guy in The Little Country That Could (Bring Down Empires) recently made
the following gnomic statement about the situation in Afghanistan, bringing military-speak tautology to a new height: “neither success nor failure can be taken for granted.” McChrystal went on to say that he would either "like a cup of coffee or not," "prefers boxers to briefs except when he doesn't," and "drinks to stay sober."
Either way, Afghanistan may or may not be
going straight to hell. Or heaven. And either way, McChrystal wants more, more, MORE soldiers to hang with.
