Music The Go Betweens Get Their Own Bridge, I Suddenly Want My Own Bridge

Man, Australians sure do treat their indie rock bands a lot better than we treat ours. Word comes from Aussie news outlet Undercover (via Idolator)that the Hale Street Link Bridge in Brisbane has officially been named Go Betweens bridge. This is awesome and maybe a little bit crazy considering the band spent most of its career in the U.K. Whatever, though... a bridge!

In other news, I listened to the Go Betweens album Tallulah during my commute this morning, and I vowed to set my Facebook status to "sleeps in the back of a feminist bookstore," but then I forgot.
