Posthumous Michael Jackson Single Ruined By His Brothers

Posted by Mike Conklin on Mon, Oct 12, 2009 at 10:27 AM

The internet was in quite the giving mood this past weekend. First there was New Moon, then "This Is It," a 1991 Michael Jackson demo that's serving as the title-track to the upcoming film about his final concert rehearsals. The film's soundtrack will have two versions of the song: the original demo with just piano and vocals, and the version above, which has been fleshed out with canned strings, a little guitar, some snapping (of course), and most notably, backing vocals by his brothers. Thanks to all these touches, the end result is as overcooked as most of his later material. I sure do want to hear that original demo, though.

Any chance they show him woken up after a good ole' fashion propofol binge.
