Weezer Launch Raditude iTunes Pass, Whatever That Is

Posted by on Wed, Oct 14, 2009 at 10:23 AM

Because just releasing a plain old record isn't anywhere near enough anymore, Weezer announced yesterday the launch of something called the iTunes Pass. The idea, simply enough, is that those who cough up $20 will have exclusive material made available to them each week until November 24th. The band's new record, Raditude, will be included, obviously, as will non-album tracks, alternate mixes, live recordings, behind the scenes video footage and presumably anything else Rivers has sitting around. Also included? A cover of "Should I Stay or Should I Go," which, judging from the video above, is probably pretty good. I wouldn't know, though. Totally not paying $20 for this.
