Gibbard and Farrar's One Fast Move or I'm Gone Streaming at NPR

I have thus far managed to avoid hearing anything from One Fast Move or I'm Gone, the collaboration between Jay Farrar and Ben Gibbard based on lyrics taken from the Jack Kerouac novel Big Sur. Due to a nagging suspicion that the whole thing will be awful, like, tragically terrible, I've simply turned the other way every time an audio sample made its way onto my screen. But no more! Today, right now, I will go over to NPR, where the entire record is streaming, and I will listen with an open mind. You should do the same.

(Oh god, I'm halfway through the first song. Ben Gibbard's singing, and his phrasing is making me really embarrassed for him, like when old white men try to rap to make young white people laugh. His voice sure is sweet, though.)
