Rover Yonder space on Grand Street
Rover Yonder is just the latest in a series of nomadic and temporary exhibition spaces to take advantage of storefronts and lots left empty by the recession, and its first incarnation will appear at a dormant construction site in Williamsburg tomorrow. 305 Grand St (pictured, between Roebling and Havemeyer) has been a boarded up and inactive for months-if-not-years, but beginning tomorrow night it will play host to a group sculpture exhibition titled, appropriately, Before the Wind Blows it All Away.

The show opens tomorrow night from 7-10pm (RSVP here) with live piano music by Alan Markley, was curated by Claudia Martinez Reardon, and features works by Shaun Acton, Hanna Liden, Justin Adian, Uri Aran, John Finneran, and more. See? Ugly luxury condos aren't the only things coming out of Williamsburg construction sites.
