TV Betty Draper and the Other Guy from 10 Things I Hate About You to Host SNL

I assume you've kept your calendar clear for this week's episode of Saturday Night Live, which will feature the one and only Taylor Swift doing double duty as host and musical guest because she's so much more talented and likable than everyone else and you would never in a million years miss it. You're gonna want to stay in next week, November 7th, as well, now that word has come that Mad Men's January Jones is scheduled to host an episode that will also feature the music of Black Eyed Peas, who will probably perform two very bad songs, then proceed to sell 50 billion records the next day. You're free, encouraged even, to leave your house the following week, when Joseph Gordon-Levitt hosts and the Dave Mathtews Band performs. [Entertainment Weekly]

Are you serious? I'm as indifferent-to-disdainful to the Dave Matthews Band as the next nerd, but are we really recommending Taylor Swift and January Jones over Joseph Gordon-Best-Actor-of-His-Generation-Levitt?

Yeah, the movie Brick was pretty awesome. JGL has come a long way.

What I'm doing is saying that January Jones + Black Eyed Peas (or Taylor Swift + Taylor Swift) adds up way worse than Josepn Gordon-Levitt + Dave Matthews Band, even allowing that I do not have any interest in Dave Matthews Band. Because Joseph Gordon-Levitt is crazy awesome. If you were being sarcastic, it wasn't really clear, and if you were being sincere, you should watch Brick and then Mysterious Skin and then maybe Stop-Loss and 500 Days of Summer and then Brick a few more times.

I will definitely do all that, in the exact order you suggested. Assuming, of course, I can listen to Fearless over and over the entire time.
