Tonight is the monthly
First Thursday Gallery Walk in the land down under the bridges, with all the neighborhoods' galleries staying open late holding receptions, parties, screenings, talks and the like. Tonight is also you last chance to catch the spectacular paper world that Wade Kavanaugh and Stephen B. Nguyen created at the
Dumbo Arts Center, and there will be openings at
+Kris Graves Projects,
Farmani Gallery,
A.I.R. Gallery, and the nostalgia-tinged group show of magical realist photography
It's A Wonderful Life at
Randall Scott Gallery (work pictured), among others. DumboNYC's got a nice helpful map of all the galleries involved
right here.
