News The Japanese Out-Weirded Us Again!

In Japan not following the straight norm is also quite taboo and the government will not recognize any same sex union legally. However, I am inclined to think that this may have more to do with the fact that there aren't as many mutant inbred hicks religious and political conservatives in Japan, or at least ones with power, as there are here, and something tells me that if it were to come to a head, Japan might be a little more easy to sway.
But here's the kicker: In Japan it is totally cool to marry your favorite sexy Anime video game character, legally, and then proceed to throw a big wedding party with a DJ and stuff. Apparently, this guy over there married this girl/electronic-pixalated-figment-of-imagination who lives in his Nintendo DS. The logistics are mind boggling.
