Altar Boyz, which opened at the New World Stages back in March of 2005 and is the longest-running Off-Broadway musical in over a decade, will close on January 10. On Friday the show's producers
announced that the show about a Christian boy band on tour would close after its 2032nd performance. I guess boy bands and Christian pop aren't quite as poignant and ripe for parody now as they were back in '05.
