This year has been unusually good for Christmas albums—or at least there's the Dylan thing, and now Camera Obscura—but Christmas carols have never sounded quite as awesome as they do on Rush Coil's new 8-Bit Christmas album. You can stream the collection of 12 tracks including classic carols ("O Christmas Tree") and seasonal favorites ("Auld Lang Syne") for free on their website (or right after the jump), or buy the collection as mp3s ($4) or on a CD ($10), and money from your purchase will go to Childs Play, a charity organization that provides games and toys to kids in hospitals all around the world. Whether or not you end up buying the thing, you should give it a listen, because it is awesome.
