Covered, a blog started almost a year ago by illustrator
Robert Goodin, features a new artist's reinterpretation of a classic comic book cover almost every day. Some are
very different from the original, others are just copies rendered in a
different medium, and others still are practically unrecognizable (see above). Best of all, anyone can submit their re-imagining of a comic cover, and with Goodin receiving between 5 and 20 submissions every week, the odds are pretty good that if your design is at all decent you'll be featured. He also includes the names of designers who created the original covers, which is nice in a nerdy, fanboy sort of way. (
