Patrick Dorian, a graphic designer and artist based in Brooklyn, just released his take on the classic game Hangman as an iPhone application. Dubbed
Hanged (and available for the low, low price of $1.99), it looks something like an early Tim Burton stop-motion short, except a good deal more violent and actually romantic.
In figuring out each word, players piece together the sordid, tragic back story of two mysterious lovers, but if you can't unravel their twisted past in time they get hanged. It's like a beautiful combination of something fun and familiar, and something creative and new. Kind of like, say, artists redesigning comic book covers. (NOTCOT)
