Music Ryan Adams & The Cardinals Bassist Chris Feinstein Dies at 42

Feinstein has been a staple of the NYC music scene for a decade, playing on three albums—Easy Tiger, Follow the Lights and Cardinology—with Adams, as well as albums by Albert Hammond and Santigold.
As more details become available, we'll have 'em for you here. So sad.

accidental overdose probably. (i am not certain of course but i'd be willing to bet from what those very close to him are saying) def. NOT suicide. you don't have to be a junkie to mix the wrong stuff in the wrong amounts, kids. wish more talented lovely people would learn this so we wouldn't lose any more.
