Music Weezer Now Outsourcing the Writing of Their Stupid Shitty Songs

“I wrote this tune, ‘Shusui.’ Now I want to write the lyrics. Before I do that, I’d like somebody to produce a better demo of the music,” Rivers Cuomo said. The frontman also promises that if your demo is selected, “I’ll pay you $208.”
I don't know why he can't write his own fucking songs, or why he'd expect anything decent to come from a fanbase I imagine currently consists exclusively of children ages 8-12, or why he's only offering $208, but I also don't know why he voluntarily had a lobotomy after making two good records, so whatever. If you'd like to try your hand at it, go here. But, really, don't.
