Beloved Grump Mike Conklin to Be On WNYC's Soundcheck Today

Because he is so sweet and delightful and smart about Long Island emo bands of the mid-90s, our dear music editor Mike Conklin has been asked to appear on WNYC's (93.9 FM)
Soundcheck today, live at 2pm and again at 10pm. Mike will be talking with host John Schaefer about what cool new music groups will be big on the alternative rock scene this year. Obviously, we're excited for his famousness, but also really concerned about his potty mouth. SHINE ON YOU CRAZY FUCKER! (...would be something he might accidentally yell).
