Books Don't Read This List of Books Forthcoming in 2010 As It Will Just Make You Give Up On Ever Reading Any Old Book Ever Again

I used to have an oversized t-shirt with this on it, I would wear it to middle school dances.

Books take, like, what, a week or a week and a half to read, on average, if you're a reasonably sociable employed person who also subscribes to magazines? So it is well and inconsiderate for all of the authors on this list, living and dead, to be producing and publishing new work in a year where a couple of friends of mine are maybe going to try and real Ulysses. Shame on you, Don DeLillo. Shaaaaaaaame. You too, Walser, I don't care how dead you are.
