Maxime Pécourt has been hard at work in the dark recesses of his cavernous Paris studio putting the finishing touches on his sleek, high-tech, spring-loaded, crime-impeding, mostly water-resistant and possibly bulletproof
Batapluie or "Batumbrella" (pictured). To the untrained eye, the gadget is merely a conventional umbrella with some judicious modifications, but in reality, well, yeah, that's all it is. Still, it seems like the sort of fanboy gadget someone would have created eventually, so bravo, Maxime, for beating Adam West to the Punch! Zonk! Kapow! (
