Film / Food & Drink Tonight: The L and Brooklyn Bowl Present a Free Screening of This Is Spinal Tap

Tonight, The L and Brooklyn Bowl will be screening Rob Reiner's hair metal mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap on all of the venues bazillion HD screens and, beginning at 8pm and continuing through the end of the film—so, assuming that unlike the fictional band that is its subject, the movie actually starts on time, approximately 9:22pm—offering $2 beers! at said Williamsburg bowling alley (61 Wythe Ave between North 11th and North 12th Sts). Of course, like legendary guitarist Nigel Tufnel, I'd much rather it went to eleven.
About a month later (2/10) we'll repeat the feat with a showing of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, so mark your calendars.
