The State of the Union will NOT Pre-Empt Lost

The president has yet to announce the date of 2010's State of the Union address—with some theorizing that he is waiting for the passage of healthcare reform—but Press Secretary Robert Gibbs assured reporters today that it would not coincide with the three-hour premiere of Lost's sixth and final season on February 2nd, the Huffington Post reported.

"I don't foresee a scenario in which millions people who hope to finally get some conclusion with Lost are preempted by the president," he said. "You can quote a senior administration official."
