Aafia Siddiqui, an MIT-trained Pakistani neuroscientist, has not
been a model defendant
: charged with attempted murder after she allegedly grabbed a gun during an interrogation in Afghanistan and exchanged fire with US soldiers (there are other versions
of what happened), Siddiqui has attempted to fire her lawyers, refused to come to court, and claimed insanity at every turn, though multiple examinations have deemed her fit to stand trial.
So now she's blaming the Jews. Siddiqui said yesterday: "[The Jews and those of Israeli background] are all mad at me, and I have a feeling that everyone here is them, subject to genetic-testing, and they should be excluded if you want to be fair." Siddiqui was later disheartened to learn that, after a round of genetic testing, half of Al Qaeda was discovered to be as Semitic as a Henny Youngman Bat Mitzvah tribute band. (Zing!)
