Your Favorite Videos Now Available as ASCII Art!

Posted by on Tue, Jan 19, 2010 at 11:44 AM

ASCIImeo
A web developer and programmer with way, way too much free time on his keyboard, Peter Nitsch, has created an alternate version of the web's best video site, Vimeo, wherein all the pretty videos are rendered in old-school ASCII art. ASCIImeo's video library is still a little limited, although presumably it will eventually feature every video from Vimeo, available in full-color, black and white, and color block ASCII art. It's like Web 2.0 retrofitted with mid-90s net graphics—and don't worry, there are still plenty of cats. (TheDailyWhat)
