Climate change-denying homophobe Jim Inhofe, who is America's worst senator—worse than segregationist Jeff Sessions and Christ's Capitalist Jim DeMint and flag-wrapped pedophile Saxby Chambliss! Worse than hypocrite Tom Coburn! Worse than diaperman David Vitter! Worse than Jim Bunning!—spoke today at the Senate Armed Services Committee's hearings on the Fort Hood shootings. "I know it's not politically correct to say it," the Senator from Oklahoma said, riskily but defiantly proclaiming his deeply unpopular anti-Muslim beliefs, "I believe in racial and ethnic profiling." He continued:

I think if you're looking at people getting on an airplane and you have X amount of resources to get into it... You get at the targets, and not my wife... But when you hear that not all Middle Easterners or Muslims between the age of 20 and 35 are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims or Middle Easterners between the age of 20 and 35, that's by and large true.

(Inhofe neglected to clarify whether he believes Muslims constitute a "race," or an "ethnicity.")

In The Battle of Algiers, the FLN (Algeria's National Liberation Front) gets bombers through French security checkpoints by picking three light-skinned women, and decking them out in Western-style hair and makeup. While the more traditionally garbed pied noirs are being searched, they pass right through and bomb cafes.

Questions of the efficacy of racial profiling aside, Jim Inhofe is a racist who would create a second class of American citizens, also.
