New She & Him Track Released

You'll have to wait two more months for the release of the new
She & Him record,
Volume Two, but they've been kind enough to drop the album's lead single, "
In the Sun" a little bit early. Fans will be pleased: Zooey Deschanel's unique, uneasy voice takes center stage once more, with Tilly and the Wall now giving M. Ward a hand with the backing vocals. The track is less obviously obsessed with the 60s girl-groups than what we've heard previously, and there's an added element of twang keeping things interesting. In other She & Him news, M. Ward has a mustache now.
