The National to Release New Album in May, Play Radio City Music Hall

I can think of no better way to spend a Wednesday night in June than seated in a comfortable chair inside the very air-conditioned Radio City Music Hall watching
The National. Convenient, then, that precisely this situation will occur on Wednesday, June 16th. Following a dozen or so dates, that will take the band from Nashville and L.A. all the way to Berlin and London, they'll perform a hometown show at the fancy-pants midtown venue. It's going to sound super awesome, obviously, and you should probably get tickets as soon as they become available. (Not yet, we'll let you know.)
In other, possibly more exciting news, a press release sent out this morning confirms that they'll be playing songs from a brand new, as yet untitled album that's set for release in May.
