This is offensively, horrifically racist. WTF? Could you imagine the brouhaha if White Plains or New Rochelle or some Westchester suburb pulled the same stunt, only directed at blacks?
There is a huge racist current and de facto redlining occurring today ... but it is against whites and Asians. I see a divided, angry society in the years to come if the trend of essentially institutionalized racism against whites and Asians continues. It's one of the more regrettable -- and bizarre -- developments of present-day American society, and too often it is accepted and enabled by the very people whose lives, and whose children's lives, it has the potential to make very unpleasant.
