Sleigh Bells to Tour With Yeasayer. Who's Gonna Sign Them Already?

Posted By on Tue, Feb 2, 2010 at 10:49 AM

Brooklyn's very own electro/noise duo Sleigh Bells—they of the very promising singles, the very good, if short, live show, and the deafening hype—have scored opening slots on spring tours with Yeasayer and Major Lazer, not to mention a spot on this year's excellent Coachella lineup. As far as indie rock in 2010 goes, it doesn't get much higher-profile than this, so it's probably safe to assume that if there are any labels that haven't already come calling, then they probably will have by the time these tours are done. We're probably looking at a fall release date for a full-length, but who's gonna have the pleasure of putting it out? It seems not at all far-fetched to think there's a good chance they'll wind up with Matador, but I've got a feeling about Warp.
