Arcade Fire Licenses Song to NFL for Haiti Charity

The
world’s best band (practically proven fact) is putting
money where their mouth is, agreeing to license “Wake Up” for use during the Super Bowl this Sunday. Too bad it's not at all an anthemic or inspiring song. Nonetheless, one hundred percent of proceeds, as well as those from subsequent airings on the NFL Network, will be sent directly to
Partners in Health’s Haiti relief efforts, which got me thinking: Hey, Arcade Fire, if you leak your
new album to me, I’ll donate everything I have ($52.31) to the charity of your choice. Now that's what I call a deal.
