Say what you will about Pitchfork, but they sure do know how to throw a music festival, eh? Word comes this morning—from who else?—that this year's event, taking place once again in Chicago's Union Park from July 16-18, will feature performances by Pavement, LCD Soundsystem and Modest Mouse, as well as St. Vincent, Sleigh Bells, Raekwon, Here We Go Magic, Lightning Bolt, and many, many more to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets go on sale today at noon: $40 for single-day passes and $90 for all three days. Ignore for just a moment that Modest Mouse is no longer a band worth paying attention to and consider taking a road trip, won't you?
