Word comes to the
L Mag theater inbox this morning that
Manhattan Theatre Club has extended their Broadway premiere of
Donald Margulies' new play,
Time Stands Still, for an additional week, with the final performance now scheduled for March 27. This gives you six more chances to catch the stellar cast of Eric Bogosian, Brian d'Arcy James, Laura Linney and Alicia Silverstone in a drama about a husband-and-wife, journalist-photographer war reporter duo benched indefinitely by injuries and going a little crazy from being away from the front and holed up in their New York apartment for too long.
We're told it's great—actually, the Times' Charles Isherwood says it's "flawless"—but since we rarely get invited to such glitzy, star-studded shows, so we can't really say for sure.
