
Iggy Pop was recently reunited with James Williamson, who played guitar on the album and then quit music altogether when the band broke up in 1974. Original guitarist Ron Asheton, who switched to bass for Raw Power but then switched back when the band reunited in 2003, died last January in his home at age 60. The band is being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March, and they've scheduled two shows as part of All Tomorrow's Parties' "Don't Look Back" series, where they'll play Raw Power in its entirety.
