Star Trek as Edward Gorey Might Have Drawn It

Posted by on Tue, Feb 23, 2010 at 9:44 AM

In light of a late-70s Boston Globe profile, in which beloved illustrator of macabre, Gothic (and sometimes rhyming) tales of misfortune and death Edward Gorey says that he's become a huge Star Trek but has yet to see the series' most famous episode, contemporary illustrator Shaenon K. Garrity set about writing and drawing a Gorey-esque version of said episode ("The Trouble With Tribbles" from season 2). The result—beginning as it does, below—is wonderful, funny and can be seen in full here. (Urlesque)
