You may have already come across the story of Leo (really, a lion named "Leo"?), Shere Khan and Baloo, the lion, tiger and bear who were seized during a drug bust in Atlanta in 2001 when they were all two months old, and who have spent every moment since living the ultimate Jungle Book fantasy frat-house life together at the Noah's Ark animal rescue center in Locust Grove, Georgia, but you can never have too much of such a good, great thing. Back in December of last year the Telegraph visited the trio's cabana (pictured) , and I know that zoos are murder and whatnot, but how can you resist adorableness such as the following, from Noah's Ark zoo assistant director Diane Smith:
Baloo and Shere Khan are very close. That is because they rise early, as Leo being a lion likes to spend most the day sleeping... It is wonderful and magical to see a giant American Black Bear put his arm around a Bengal tiger and then to see the tiger nuzzle up to the bear like a domestic cat. When Leo wakes up the three of them mess around for most of the day before they settle down to some food.
