"Have Another Drink, Sweetie, It'll Keep You Skinny"

A new report indicates "that women who regularly consume moderate amounts of alcohol are less likely to gain weight than nondrinkers and are at lower risk for obesity." (It speeds up your metabolism, girls, and it's got fewer carbs than the meal you're probably skipping.)

As you might expect, the linked-to story (accompanied, humorously, by the stock photo of girl drinks pictured at right) is currently Most Emailed at nytimes.com, probably always with a Note from Sender (optional) reading "wanna go to the 'gym' after work? lol" or suchlike.
