New Reflection Eternal Video Just Fine, Song Is Amazing

Posted By on Tue, Mar 23, 2010 at 8:53 AM

A couple weeks ago Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek, known collectively as Reflection Eternal, dropped the first light show of a music video from their long-awaited comeback album Revolutions Per Minute (out April 20), and last night we got another for the Bun B collabo "Strangers". The video is nothing special, just some black and white shots of Brooklyn warehouses and bodegas, and a bit of Wall Street, but the beat is phenomenal, classic Hi-Tek with huge brass and drums, and later on some judiciously deployed guitar licks, with Talib and Bun switching up their flows like four times each in one minute. If the whole record is like this it'll have been worth the ten year wait.
