News Today Is Free Cone Day

We're not afraid to be service-y: today is Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's. Show up at any of their locations until 8pm, for a free ice cream cone. Please tip your server.

(Free Cone Day used to be in April, when it was warmer and you could enjoy your free cone out of doors: I'll always remember sitting in the yard of St. Mark's Church on Free Cone Day of Aught Five, April 24th, because that was the day they picked the new Pope, Benedict XVI, the Free Cone Day Pope.)
