Theater Caligula Maximus, With its Sexy Circus and Pornstar Co-Star, Keeps Getting Extended!

According to an email sent out this morning, the show (of which we'll have a review for you shortly) has been extended another week through April 17, because people who wouldn't normally go to see experimental theater—especially not experimental theater based on an ancient Greek political tragedy—will go see experimental theater that features pornstar Justine Joli, a scantily clad aerialist, a showgirl-like ensemble of dancers and singers, and a giant, golden, penis-shaped canon that shoots confetti all over the stage. Brace for impact after the jump.
That must be how good it feels to produce a risky show that turns out to also be financially viable.
