On Sunday afternoon Williamsburgers will have a rare and rather brief opportunity to step inside the gates of the soon-to-be-
maybe-condo-ified Domino Sugar Plant on the South Side. The gated stretch of South 3rd Street that runs from Kent Avenue down to the East River between the site's two tallest buildings (as pictured at right), about a block and a half south of Glasslands, will be thrown open from noon to 3pm on Sunday (April 18), when the developers hoping to turn the beautiful industrial landmark into condos will provide "free refreshments and family entertainment." They're calling it "
Sunday in the Park at Domino," which sounds nice, doesn't it? (
