I Have Alcoholism Literary Upstart Fever and My Work is Suffering

I just wanted to level with all y'all. Tonight is Literary Upstart, the drunken, often exceedingly raucous competitive reading throw-down I have had the great honor of hosting over the last six years. As such, I'm as excited as a six-year-old robot boy about to become human on Christmas morning—consequently, I'm having a hard time doing my normal "work" (editing and siht). I'm probably going to just quietly sip vermouth from a coffee cup and watch old YouTubes of Anne Sexton all day.
