Bushwick Street Artist Duo Skewville Explain Their Wooden Sneakers Project

Skewville Sneakers
You've probably seen the work of Skewville, the Bushwick-based street art duo of brothers Ad and Droo Deville (the former is a co-founder of the gallery Factory Fresh), although you may not realize it. Wooden sneakers silkscreened with their trademark type and palette are hanging on power lines not only around the city, but around the world. In this short doc (after the jump), Ad estimates that of the 5,000 wooden sneakers they've thrown up, over half are in New York—so look up next time you walk under some sneakers. (Wooster)
