The debut full-length from the California-based, Sub Pop-signed
Avi Buffalo, out today, is
streaming over at Soundcloud this week. If you ask me, it's
more like a 7.1 or so, but the kind of 7.1 that would end with a paragraph about how they're so young (18-19) they still have time to figure out how not to sound exactly like their influences—The Shins, Wilco, um... The Shins—and how the record has enough truly high points that there's every reason to think they will.
