Talks and Readings The Next Literary Upstart Reading Is In Exactly Two Weeks (and the Final Submissions Deadline Is May 31)

If you're anything like us, you've read the reports, and gazed upon the photographic evidence, of this year's first Upstart event, and thought to yourself, "wow, that sure seems like fun." So. Monday, May 17th, doors at 7pm; cheap booze, short fiction, witty critiques from our judging panel, drunken trivia competitions, giveaways, and a general sense, when all is said and done, that you've really been A Part of Something.
And, hey: with the last of our three semifinal readings coming up on June 9th, you should probably be aware that the deadline for Upstart submissions is Monday, May 31. So get on with it.
