See, the good thing about music critics now being expected to pay close attention to televised singing competitions is that it gives us something to talk to our 7-year-old nieces about. The bad thing is that we sometimes forget that our 7-year-old nieces actually care about this stuff, and that maybe we shouldn't tell them over and over again that their favorite contestant is a nerd who doesn't deserve to be there. God, what a bad uncle. But yeah, I was totally happy. Sorry, Emma.
