Holy crap, you guys, the best event ever is happening on Sunday! EVER. A whole bunch of
great Williamsburg restaurants (including personal favorites Aurora,
M Shanghai,
Taco Chulo and
Fornino, and
L Mag-approved joints like
Pies N' Thighs,
Nita Nita, Diner, Dressler and
Fatty Cue) are getting together to do an
outdoor charity tasting on N. 11th Street, between Berry and Wythe. What's the charity, you ask?
Why, it's the Northside Town Hall, a joint project of Neighbor's Allied for Good Growth (NAG) and the People's Firehouse. To quote the website:
Located on the site of the former Engine Company 212 firehouse in Williamsburg, the Town Hall will serve as a home for these organizations to continue to serve, organize, and advocate for the community. The building will also feature a flexible cultural exhibition and community meeting space on the ground floor.
You can buy tickets here. Or at the event itself (Sunday looks gorgeous, by the way).
