Talks and Readings Yes Virginia There Is Dollar Beer and Literary Upstart on Monday

You should know, then, that Literary Upstart, The L's American competitive short fiction reading series/literary thunderdome (brought to you as always by Harper Perennial, the New School, and the letters b, o, o again, z and e), will hold its second night of readings (and witty but generous-spirited critiques, and banter, and trivia) this coming Monday, the 17th, at the Slipper Room on the Lower East Side. Doors are at 7pm.
And, once again, we will be selling Dogfish Head beer for the low low price of $1.
